2017 has been something else. I'm super behind on updates, writing, posts, after a whirlwind year of solo travel, many talks, working furiously on some side passion projects with friends, and more. There are more updates to come, but for now, a very light hearted and fun one - last week I did a photoshoot (shot by the fantastic Celeste) for the inspirational sailorhg's "git it gurl" bomber jacket, with some other women in tech I really admire - Julie Ann Horvath, Sam Bobra, and Kaya Thomas! Check out these fun shots and buy this bad ass jacket - https://bubblesort-zines.myshopify.com/products/git-it-gurl-jacket-pre-order-ships-november - while you can! Amy aka sailorhg doesn't have storage space to keep spare orders of the jacket around, so you have to buy it by October 31st! I think especially after this year, wearing something that reinforces that we can be feminine and also exist and thrive in this space feels especially welcome.
"GIT IT, GURL. Because femmes belong in tech. Because femininity is not antithetical to engineering and logic. Because you and your BFFs could use a squad jacket. Because version control is important when you're collabing with your squad." - sailorhg
